A BILL to amend and reenact section twenty-one, article one, chapter twenty of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, relating to continuation of the division of natural resources .

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That section twenty-one, article one, chapter twenty of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 1. ORGANIZATION AND ADMINISTRATION.
§20-1-21. Continuation of the division of natural resources.
The division of natural resources shall continue to exist, pursuant to the provisions of article ten, chapter four of this code,
until the first day of July, two thousand three four, pursuant to the provisions of article ten, chapter four of this code, unless sooner terminated, continued or reestablished pursuant to the provisions of that article.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to continue the
Division of Natural Resources until July 1, 2004, pursuant to the West Virginia Sunset Law.
